So, another day and another idea. This time it's a pretty neat idea. I have enrolled in MarkeeDragon's "Challenge". The whole idea of it is boiled down to one question:
"Can You Make A Living, Only By Playing Video Games?"
The answer is yet unknown.
However, all looks promising in the land of get rich quick schemes... or should i say get rich slow? It looks like MarkeeDragon is offering a one off oppurtunity to get yourself known and actually have a go at making money. My suggestion is have a go, it won't hurt. There's no requirement what so ever, that includes no age limit.

So... What is this you may be asking?
Well, long story short Shattered Crystal has an "affiliate program". This is basically where a company (in this case Shattered Crystal) pays you to promote their business. So, the storyline of this whole operation is this... If you influence someone to sign up to Shattered Crystal as a customer (and buy) something of value, you will get 5% commision.
For example if someone signs up and buys $100 worth of game codes a week, you just made $5. Lets say they return and you get 100 people buying $100 worth of stuff each, per week using that same account - that means you are getting $500 because those 100 people are spending $10,000 in total. Lets say a month is 4 weeks - that's $2,000 a month, and $24,000 a year. For agument sake lets say you get a 100% growth in revenue flowing in 1 years time.
That makes $48,000 a year. Get where I'm going?
Now that isn't the only thing you can make cash off. If you drive enough traffic to your blog or website you can start getting clicks on ads. Now these aren't much to start off with but if you get 2,000 people coming on your blog or website to check it out, and 100 click a day- averaging 2p per click (GBP) thats £2 (around $3.50) a day - £14 a week and (assuming a month is 4 weeks) £56 a month, bagging you £672 a year ( around $1,000 - $1,100 a year).
That, however is easier said than done. The trouble lies all in how you drive "traffic" to the site or blog. There are many ways in which you can... to list a few:-
- Make gameplay videos
- Take screenies of awesome gameplay and post onto a blog
- Make videos and updated blog together
- join with more famous Youtube stars, helping them out and thus driving traffic to your site
- advertise yourself online (If you're filthy rich, in which case why bother?)
- Refer friends to make accounts and always buy from them ( if you have a wide friend base)
- Get your existing fan base to make accounts and shop from there
